Different Worlds

May 04

I dont understand your world and you dont understand my world. And until we leave the safety of our own worlds, we will keep on judging & despising each other.

A Mother’s Letter

I’m not a mother. And neither am I a daughter. But I do have a mom and a sister. And I have witnessed their bond over time.

At times it was really really shaky. When my sister rebelled, my mom persisted. There are many reasons for it, but essentially it was my moms persistent divine love that created the space for my sister to feel safer than her immediate circumstances.

By God’s abundant grace and my moms unconditional love, she returned.

Moms, dont stop loving. Daughters, you are loved.

May you be inspired [to love and feel loved]

The Devision of Gravity

Mar 07

We learn. In all relationshops, at some point in our lives we learn. We learn that company doesn’t mean security. We learn that kisses aren’t contracts and presents aren’t promises. We learn that futures have a way of falling in mid-flight. After a while you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much. So you plant your garden and decorate your soul instead of waiting for someone else to bring you flowers.

And then sometimes, we learn to love. Appropriately. We learn that love needs to be sincere and intelligent. Not sentimental gush. We learn that perhaps their is a way for relationships to outlast differences.

But what you learn in the one relationship will determine the success of the next ones.

May you be inspired [to learn to love appropriately]

me.

do what you LOVE

Oct 12

I am proud to say that I do what I LOVE and LOVE what I do. A privilege enjoyed by most probably 0.05% of the world’s population.

So what’s the s

ecret? Well… if you can call it a secret [which, by the way, I dont think is suppose to be one], it lies in what you choose.

Not what job you choose. What attitude you choose. When I wake up in the morning, Im excited to go to work, not because I have the best job in the world, but because I choose to be excited.

Now, is that easy? Certainly not! There are mornings that I wish I can just stay in bed. But most of the times I choose differently.

May you be inspired [to LOVE what you do]

me.
