I dont think the song is really about being a real superhero with supernatural abilities. I think the song is more about hope. Hope that even though we have this deep desire to make a difference, to matter, to contribute and despite people telling us that it is not possible, it doesnt have to stop me from trying.

I will keep on trying to save the world. Even if it matters to only 1 person.
