It’s not always possible to take someone out of his circumstances. His world. But it is possible to put yourself in his world. And that’s perhaps all that is needed for him to move himself out of the mess he finds himself in.

For some sort of reason we have missed what we were born for…

We were born to give. But somehow we mistake it with a mandate that we need to change people. We werent born to change people. That’s not our responsibility. That’s Gods’.

We were born to give.

Not only our money. That’s the easy part. But also ourselves. Our time & comfort as well. That’s the confronting part. The lasting part.

I’m confronted with this on a regular basis as well.

I’ve started to pour myself into a homeless man’s life a month ago [Shaking a Homeless Man's Hand]. And it certainly is busy changing MY life as well. I’ll blog about it.

If you want your life to change, your circumstances your relationships then perhaps you should stop looking in the wrong places. Change is found in giving.
